Sussex Schools FA U13 Shield Final

Last Friday the Year 8 footballers competed in the Sussex Schools FA U13 Shield Final. This was the first SSFA Final we have qualified for in many years and we had the privilege of playing this fixture at the Sussex FAs HQ at Culver Road. The boys were very motivated and ready for the game and worked hard from the first whistle. With the score 0-0 after a very even first half, we pushed into the second half with fight. Unfortunately, in the latter stages of the second half, we conceded a penalty which completely changed the game. The boys fought until the end with passion but it wasn’t to be with the final score at 2-0 to Oriel. We’d like to thank all the parents, siblings, students and staff members for coming along to support. It meant the world to the boys and to the PE Department.
