Green Careers Week

From the 2nd-6th November it's Green Careers Week, a national initiative designed to help young people explore the wide range of careers that support a more sustainable future. A green career is any job that helps protect the environment, reduce carbon emissions, conserve resources, or support sustainable living. These roles can be found in many different sectors, including engineering, construction, transport, science, technology, agriculture, conservation, and renewable energy.

Throughout the week, we will be sharing information about green careers, displaying posters around the school, and providing links to some fun and interactive quizzes to help students discover how their interests and skills could connect to future green opportunities. With the UK’s growing focus on sustainability, there has never been a better time to explore the exciting careers that are helping to shape a greener future for everyone.
