We had our last Ofsted visit in January 2017 which we were very pleased with.

The Ofsted report contained comments such as:

Contract Type:           Permanent - Term Time only + 1 week during school

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working person to be the first point of contact for parents and visitors to Chailey School. As well as being a friendly and approachable colleague we require the successful candidate to undertake administrative tasks as set out in the job description and to be part of a team providing first aid provision for the school.

Teaching Assistant 3 - Behaviour and Inclusion Support Assistant

This is an important post for the school.   We all know that some students find learning in a school setting hard. The successful post-holder will support with creating a culture where students are able to flourish in a smaller setting, spending some or all of their time in the unit while we re-engage them back into the school environment or find alternative curriculum pathways. Contract type:           37 hours per week term time only

                                    47 weeks per year

                                    Monday – Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm

                                    Friday 8.00am to 3.15pm

This is an important post for the school; liaising with parents to provide collaborative guidance and care, and supporting the learning and progress of students.   We all know that some students find learning in a school setting hard. The successful post-holder will support the Director of Achievement and Faculty Team Leaders in raising standards of attainment and achievement within the designated phase, provide support, care and guidance for students within designated phase in order to maximise learning and work pro-actively to implement school policy systems and processes to reinforce the expected climate for learning.
