COVID 19

Exams at Chailey School are run in accordance with current DfE regulations, including the Guidance to Publich health arrangements for autumn exams:

Autumn 2020 series

The Autumn 2020 series will run from 2nd November to 23rd November.

Exams Timetable at Chailey School

The timetable of exams being held at Chailey is in the right hand Related Files menu.

Personal Timetable

Each student will find their personal timetable on their Edulink account under the exams tab. Students should note that all times EXCLUDE any extra time entitlement.

Extra Time

The extra Time table used to work out the time to be added to each exam is included in the Student Exams handbook and is in the right hand Related Files menu.

Entries

The deadline for submitting entries has now passed. Students who have requested to be entered for exams should check the Statement of Entry on their Edulink account. All entries will now be assumed correct unless students have already advised the Exams Officer otherwise.

Exams handbook November 2020

Students will be sent a digital copy of the Exams handbook. A copy can also be found in the right hand Related Files menu. It is important that all students take time to read the book which contains important information and notices that ALL students must be aware of when taking their exams. All students must read the JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) Information and Notices for candidates produced each year which give details of the regulations that candidates MUST comply with during their formal exams. The documents are located in the right hand Related

Day of the Exam

Morning exams are scheduled to begin at 8.45 am.

Afternoon exams are scheduled to start at 1.00 pm.

Students should arrive at Chailey 15 minutes before the start time of any exam. They should wait outside the reception office where they will be met by an invigilator and escorted to the exam room. Students must ensure they maintain social distancing at all times, that they wear a face covering and sanitise their hands on entry to the school building.
